Errors. A database of this type will always contain errors, despite best efforts to avoid them. Errors are, of course, corrected as soon as they are found, and in this regard the author owes thanks to those correspondents who have drawn attention to mistakes. Your correspondence is valued and is always answered.
Disk Sales
A CD-ROM version of the database has been under development for some time. The database is in Microsoft Access – for those without Access installed, an Access 2007 run-time program is included with the installation, so that users do not require MS Access on their computer to run the disk. The database uses a report process which allows for much more functionality than the website. The reports are simple to design and run and may be viewed, printed or exported. The version supplied will always be the most recent monthly update of the website.
System Requirements:
- If Microsoft Access is installed (versions 2000, XP, 2003):
- Microsoft Windows 2000 or better (Windows XP recommended)
- minimum hard-drive space 200MB
- minimum 256MB RAM (1GB recommended)
- If Microsoft Access version 2007 is installed:
- Windows XP or better
- minimum hard-drive space 200MB
- minimum 256MB RAM (1GB recommended)
- If Microsoft Access is not installed, you need to install the MS Access 2007 runtime. So the requirements are tighter:
- Windows XP or better
- minimum hard-drive space 500MB
- minimum 512MB RAM (1GB recommended)
